This is a good tracker. I would suggest adding the NCS office applied at because I suspect they process these as a group by week by NCS office batch.

Guys who are waiting be patient, you will surely get approved one day. I never called UKBA for my status update and was surprised to received approval one day. I was thinking I will wait for 2 months atleast to call because I can see people applied after me was getting approvals.

I've only got one brown envelope from HO (not from council) which is Citizenship Invitation. It says that my application is approved and I should contact my council for the ceremony. I called council and they were happy book me for a group ceremony on 25/06/2014, but I've asked for private ceremony and some will call me back on that.

I'm confused whether I am supposed to receive only one letter or should I expect another one.

It depends on the council - for some councils they send out the letter automatically but councils like Leeds we have to contact the council.

Called yesterday, connected immediately.. and was promptly informed that they are implementing a new software and they are not in a position to give out updates immediately.. They took my details and somebody from service desk called me today and informed me that the my application is under consideration.. not sure if it is updated information.. but at least an update:)

That is what I got the other day when I called them, minus the "new software" news. The call center agent can only tell what they see on the screen, its the lazy case workers who don't update the status of a particular application. I applied on the 4th of April.

if you want to travel yes you should apply ASAP. But if not then any reason for spending more money and having ceremony?

HO call center information is strange.

I called HO on 29th May and progress was decision being made.
Then called again on Monday 2nd June then progress was Application under consideration.
Then called again on Tuesday 3rd June and progress was Decision being made and waiting letters to be printed.
Called again on Wednesday and progress was Application is in final stages please wait and you will get decision soon

And finally called today and progress was application is progressing normally please wait for 6 months. ha ha haha

So i am not sure if decision being made then how come application status jump back and forth.
