A planned itinerary, if you have one for uk visitor visa

My husband is on Tier 1 general visa in Uk and I am on Dependent visa in UK.
What itinerary one needs to show for Uk visitor visa..Is it the page before booking flight which we can print out and submit with visa application?
My husband is sponsoring my brother.So is it necessary that the flight needs to be booked by my husband or I or my brother can also book it?
