I have a tricky situation and want to know from the forum I had a tier 1 General visa stamped on 28th Jan 2009 which was valid for 3 years. I was based outside UK for 2009 and just made a 5 day visit to UK.
On 2nd Mar 2010 I entered UK on that Tier 1 General and started working on a project in UK and started getting paid in GBP.
Rented a flat and went back to my home country to get my wife and kid ( who did not have a Tier 1 dependent ), so my company stamped a Tier 2 ICT for me and my family and I came back to UK with them in May 2010. My Tier 2 ICT stamp date is 29th April 2010 (Stamped outside UK) - applied to VFS on 8th April 2010 ), but the company had applied for a sponsorship letter ( which I don't have anymore ) in Feb 2010. So from 6th May 2010, I was here on ICT, switched to Tier 1 in Dec 2010 and changed my job.
My question is the time I spent on Tier 2 ICT valid and will count towards my 5 years period for an ILR application ?
So can I apply on the basis on my first entering UK on 2nd Mar 2010 or will I have to wait for Dec 2015 based on my new Tier 1 General visa from Dec 2010 ?
