applied on 02nd May still waiting. Phone HO yesterday , application is not allocated to case worker on further querry when should I expect any update lady on phone said latest by November thats it.

I think once the passport application backlog clears up which I think should be by September schools starting and then another month from then so approximately end of September until then just forget it .

It does seem like anybody who has applied in later part of May 14 has been waiting longer than usual 5/6 weeks time, I called HO and was told that its in progress
PLease let us all know whoever in this category(time slot) has any update.

i have my wife's application at HO applied on 19th May, received on 21st of May.. Since I got my results back in exactly 2 months back in february, i thought of writing an email to furthernationalityenquiries last Monday. Today I received a letter by post from them, thanking me for my enquiry (was not expecting a postal letter in return of an email enquiry, got all excited)

It said, since I applied on 21st of May, and the applications are dealt with in order of receipt hence I should not expect a response for atleast 4 months from the date of application, according to current timelines..

I see that people are hearing with in 90 days who ever have applied in May.. so expect it by 21st Aug 2014

May 6th applicant here. Called earlier today to be told that "Application is still under progress".

It seems that I'm likely to be waiting for another 3 to 4 weeks, at the very least, for my approval letter (based on the some of the comments on the forum).

status: application is under consideration

When I asked whether case worker is allocated or not : Office replied cannot say whether case worker is allocated or not since that information is not visible in the system, Service time is 6 months

yeah it has gone awfully quiet .. its taking upto 90 days at the moment..

Do u have any idea how much time is it taking for the passport to arrive from the time you apply ..

82 days here too. Not entirely sure what's happening tbh. When I call, sometimes they tell us that it's with caseworker and sometimes they just say it's not with a caseworker, and that's when some senior caseworker or someone call you back.
Sleep on it, it's the best advise I can give to everyone in my situation as it seem in the current scenario it'll take about 5-6 months for an application.

I applied on 14th May 2014 ... I didnt hear from them. nor I didnt care to call them as the response you get from them is 'As a standard any application can take up to 6 months.. if you didnt hear from us in 6 months we can give you an explanation '

I am hoping u will hear in mid of Aug

If you go to previous pages in this thread You can find the time line and when they heard from Home office. U can estimate from there..

Hi, I applied on the 6th of May and called them today regarding an enquiry about something else and also asked if there is any update and they just replied with the standard information that its under process and it can take upto 6 months. So I dont really think there is any update that they can give or want to give.

Good thing is that April applications are getting results coming in, so in thee present circumstances that is good news.

Today, it's been a month since a May applicant has received an approval.

How much longer do we have to suffer? Here is hoping, within the next few weeks, things start to pick-up.
