Hi jacki121, I have got the exact same problem. I applied on 20th via NCS, and I called them up today and I was told that the payment was declined because of incorrect expiry date.jacki121 wrote:Hi everyone
A LETTER TODAY FROM HOME OFFICE SAYING THAT MY FEE PAYMENT BEEN DECLINED BY MY CREDIT CARD AND SENT ME ANOTHER FORM TO FILL OUT AND RETURN TO THEM.
I PHONED THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY AND THEY SAID REASON FOR DECLINE WAS THAT "THE HOME OFFICE STAFF HAS KEYED THE WRONG EXPIRY DATE OF MY CARD AND ITS BEEN DECLINED" AS I LOOKED AT THE COPIES OF FORM WHICH I SENT AND ALL MINUTES WERE CORRECT!!!!
I AM WONDERING IS THERE ANY PERSON THAT I COULD TALK AND SEE WHICH STAFF MAKE SUCH A WASTEFUL AND PATHETIC JOB WHICH INCURRED IN SO MUCH WASTE OF TIME!!!
TAHNKS.

The nice lady helping me out at the NCS informed me that due to the ongoing passport backlog at the UKBA this summer, they have now moved most of the staff who used to process Naturalisation applications to help out with the passport backlog.
Therefore, she said I should expect it will definitely take the full 6 months to process this application even though it is straightforward because they have much less staff working on these applications now than they did earlier in the year. So don't worry if you don't get it sorted out in 3 months guys

I did not have UKNARIC certificate. All they asked me was to get Points based calculator final pdf showing UK English assessment. It will contain some 7 pages to show your each section qualification in the PBS assessment. NCS checked with UKBA directly and confirmed this is sufficient. They were kind enough to give time for me to get it and then finished the application process.
So better book early for that days appointment. Good Luck

Hi I moved house after applying for naturalisation , Can anyone in the forum can tell me how to contact (on which number) home office to communicate my new address for further communications by home office?
When I was googling for the same I found below link but it says it is trail version so I am not sure whether my new address has been registered with the home office or not.
https://eforms.homeoffice.gov.uk/outrea ... pdate.ofml
