ILR Questions- Please help

Post by jain236 » Wed Oct 08, 2014 12:10 pm

Hi, My tier 1 is valid till 2017 but i will be eligible for ILR in Feb 2015 . i have 3 dependents who also have depenent visa till 2017
my question
1) i was thinking to go for ILR for myself only as my dependent have visa till 2017. can i do this?
2) if NO is the answer to 1 then ,i have baby born in UK but i took her tier 1 dependent vias as i have to travel to India. now if i decide to take ILR for all dependents along with then do i need to go for ILR for my baby born in UK or i can directly apply for Red passport for her?

your help will be appreciated.

1- Yes, you can do so
2- You don't have to apply for your baby if the baby is not travelling abroad. After your ILR is successful, apply for BC registeration for your baby on MN1 form.

Yes ( I am assuming you are apply for ILR on Tier 1 basis).

If i were you, i would go for PEO for myself and once ILR is approved apply for ILR for your spouse by post and apply for BC registration for your baby
