UK ICT visa Validity

Hi ,

I have UK ICT visa which will expire in dec 2015 and issued date was DEC 2013.
But i have not traveled yet. Now expected travel date is jan 2015. Will this visa be valid to travle to UK ?
I am asking becuase i heared that if some one will not travle with in 6 months from the day of issue Uk border securities do not
allow to travle .Is it true ?

Please someone can answer my query ?

There is no such rule. You can travel as long as your visa is valid and your employer has not informed UKBA about cancelling the visa. However, if there is a long gap between your visa start date and your actual travel date, immigration at the airport might question you on this.
