They still haven't deducted the fees from my bank account...should I be worried?
I called a few days ago and was told that they have received my application but it's not showing up on the system yet, and that I should call in a week's time as it can take a month for it to appear on the system....whaa?

Waiting impatiently with all fingers crossed for everyone!

I have also received my letter of invitation from council dated 25th November 2014. The funny thing is I still haven't received my official letter from HO yet. It still must be with royal mail Either way very happy that a very long journey with HO has come to an end. No more extensions, hefty fees and more importantly the long dreaded wait. Thanks to everyone here for proving very helpful information and good luck to everyone who are still waiting. I think it looks like all october applicants will get a very good christmas present soon. I have been here since I was 3 years old. My indefinite Leave took over 6 months and I had to contact the local MP.
I am amazed how fast this was. I can't wait to get the ceremony over and done with and then get my RED PASSPORT!

To be honest for the amount of money, I think all applications should be this quick, and they should just be able to pick up a British Passport at the Ceremony.
