Tier 1 Dependent'option after main applicant switched to ILR

Post by w8in4response » Fri Dec 05, 2014 7:28 pm

Dear Experts,

I am looking for advice on choosing to make the right application for my wife.

I have recently been (two months ago) granted ILR under 10 years route.

At the time of my application for ILR, I held Tier 1 General (extended for three years in June 2012 for me and my wife), but my ten years in the UK completed in June 2014 so I had applied for ILR under 10 years category and was approved in October this year.

My wife who joined me in the UK after our marriage on 18 July 2011, currently holds a Tier 1 dependent status, which will run out in July 2015.

She has passed life in the UK test and English at B1.

I am not sure what options do I have at the moment, as recent changes in immigration rules have created too much ambiguity.

Could you therefore advise me with best possible option?

I do thank you for your time.
