Trouble getting first adult passport-parents never married

Hello all
found myself in a weird situation.
I Was born in 1989 to a british father but my parents have never been married
Though that, i got my first ul passport at the age of 6.
**Important to add - i am considered as a legitimate childto my parents(therefore my father is on my birth certificate)
Until today i did not use my british passport and it was expired more than 10 years ago.
Whe. I tried to appley for a renewal, i got a replay on mail from the passport office asking for:
1-father british birth certificate- ordered it on mail from the registration office since my father has passed away And i dont hold one
2-mother birth certificate from morocco- she does not hold one(i think she never had one- born in 48).
3- my birth certificate - have it and my father's name appears in it.
4- parents marriage certificate - my parents. Were never "officially" married

What should i do?
Is there a chance i lose my rights because of the law("born before 2006 to a british father but parents are not married)?
After all, iv'e been granted a passport before, so it seems just insane to take away my citizenship.
Hope that someone can help me through that

Unfortunately, 50(9(A)(c)) was not in force until 01 July 2006. So, you cannot claim automatic British citizenship via your father.

However, they may construe your British passport application as an undetermined application for registration (6.3.9), by entitlement or discretion.

Moreover, you may also benefit from Section 65 if/when it comes into force.

My big question is, how is it possible to revoke my citizenship after made, without me Breaking the law?
I have registered as a british citizen as a minor and been approved so its a weird situation.
In fact, my brother had no problems with his renewal at the time(born also before 06) so...

Unfortunately, a British passport does not confer citizenship.

Under what provisions did you register as a British citizen as a minor?

If you did register, then you are British. Parents' non-marriage will be irrelevant.

You may use your registration certificate, when applying for a British passport.

At the time(i was very young) my mother had a document from court saying that my father is the legit father.
Also in my Old british passport it was written
"British citizen"
In that case you say They have to renew it?

I am uncertain if the court document satisfies the requirements of the 1981 British Nationality Act.

my father is known in court as my legit father(written in my birth certificate)
at the time that my mother filed the application for my citizenship' it has been approved in london for that reason, and i got my passport(in the passport my status was - "British citizen")
since the passport expired more than 10 years ago, i think that they are treating it like a new application.

unfortunately i don't.
it was through the british console at that time (20 years ago i think).
and my mother can't recall about a paper regarding that.
this console has been closed since then and all records are gone

isn't the old passport i provided is enough to approve ?

You may try an Application for confirmation of British nationality status: form NS.

Just remembered. If you were registered for British citizenship, then try to Get a replacement UK citizenship certificate.

This is different from Registering to become a British citizen.

No clue about the application, and so does my mother(long time ago)
I understand that the passport itself does not convey citizenship, but if so- how it was written on the passport that my status is "british citizen"?
