If the speeding or parking tickets are not part of a sentence of the court, then you need not give details of those tickets.Note: We will carry out criminal record checks on all applicants and dependants. You must give details of all unspent and spent criminal convictions. This includes road traffic offences but not fixed penalty notices (such as speeding or parking tickets) unless they were part of a sentence of the court. This includes all drink-driving offences.
You have to declare only if you "went to court" and there you are "convicted" in the court and the ticket is a part of the court "sentence".canon123 wrote:But the points are always given by a court isnt it for adminstrative purposes.
My license counterpart was endorsed by court even I did not attend any court. Do we need to declare it??
