ILR Biometric is lost in post what to do?

Post by Tire1Questions » Mon Feb 02, 2015 12:05 pm

HI there,
My wife and I received our ILR in November 2014. Last week I had to send my ILR biometric card to home office with MN1 application form. But before it could reach to home office it is lost somewhere in the post. They were sent Special Delivery (Royal Mail).
The packet contained all original documents including our marriage certificate.
Can some one please suggest what to do now? Where and how can I apply for another bio metric card?
Thanks for your help.

I guess MN1 is for your child.

1. You can ask Royal mail for compensation (please check the rules)
2. BRP is a document which can be replaced. I think it is £40 to get it replaced.
Check this https://www.gov.uk/replace-brp
3. As for the other documents ... you might have to ask the respective authorities to give you one more copy ...
