Hi there sorry not on here much - battling the next hurdle. I didn't have ILR card. I had ILR before they started issuing it as cards. Maybe someone else with ILR card can help?

Hi there, mine was very straightforward. Fill in the form and have a checklist of what you need to include as supporting documents. Make your own to double check. I also included a letter from HMRC confirming they made a mistake not me. Be reasonable to supply documents for situations that can cause ambiguity. Good luck in your application and i would recommend also picking up a passport application from the post office as well. When your referee is signing your AN form, the Passport form can be endorsed at the same time so that you can send your next application on the day of your ceremony. That's what I plan to do.

1 - Print and complete AN form also collect Passport application form (post office)
2 - Print and complete payment slip
3 - 4 x Passport photograph (snappy snaps)
4 - Referees complete and sign AN form and endorse your Passport photo for AN form and Passport application and photo
5 - Scan copy of everything including supporting documents
6 - Pray over your application and send through special delivery (track on postoffice.co.uk)
- inlcude special delivery envelope to return your docs.- your decision letter comes back with them (quicker than 2nd class post)
7 - Keep praying for favour and complete the sections that you can for your passport application
8 - On receipt of your ceremony invitation telephone your local council everyday to try to book.
9 - After ceremony - take a photo or scan your certificate, add details to passport application and post (special delivery)
10- Wait for interveiw invitation if necessary and set reminder in 6 weeks from date of posting before you start chasing.

I know this is long and I'm always saying special delivery I can't afford to lose a passport so I always use special delivery to send or receive it.

I don't think if the term of spouse of BC does help. I'm spouse of BC applied on 20 Jan and have had pretty same timeline as above but haven't received anything yet- lets see if I do receive something next week, if I do receive something next week then your observation could be corrected.
