I applied on the 22nd of Jan (5 years Tiers1+ 1year ILR) and I'm still waiting. It is a Straightforward application. I can see that almost everyone is getting approval letter within 3 weeks...it looks like applications are either being processed within 3 weeks or 6 months and more. I will have to wait until the 22 July to enquire about the status of my application with HO (6 months)

Silence has finally come to an end!!!
After almost two months of silence, today I received an e-mail from HO
They told me that they are ready to approve my application and asked me if I want to organize a citizenship ceremony in the UK or in Switzerland where I live!!! I'm so happy guys... I will post more updates as they become available. Thank you all for the great support guys!!!!
For all of you that are still waiting, stay positive...out of the blue you will get good news as I did today

Hi zonkkk, maybe they wrote to me via e-mail because I don't live in the Uk.
During the whole process I never received anything via normal post, not even the acknowledgment letter. In fact I didn't even know the reference number for my application.

Thanks for the reply. I live in the UK and they sent me an email confirming that they have received my application (it included the reference number). So I was wondering whether they would send another email when it is approved.
