MN1 (registration) application processing timelines (only)

Dear all,
I'm planning to apply MN1 for my 2 years old son using NCS in order not send all original documents( passport, brp card).
Present status of my son :PBS DEPENDANT.
Immigration gurus can you please advice if i am required to send his original BRP CARD with the application as it doesn't ask in the guidance. If in case i dont need to send his passport and brp card, is he allowed to travel outside uk while the MN1 application is with the home office.
Please advice if anyone had been in this situation before

I am having problem in professional referee because it says that it should be teacher or doctor or anyone who is related to kids in professional way.
One of my friend is accountant and he is British citizen as well. Can he able to sign????

I am sending the following documents for my 3 kids naturalization because NCS is charging hell of money £152 for 3 application which I can't afford to pay.

MN1 FORM
PAYMENT FORM (£669X3=£2007) ALL IN ONE

Hi Tahir,

I was on the same situation when applied for my son. .I asked my family doctor to sign and paid £25 fee. My son(4years) school and health visitor refused to sign it .


I am wondering if the others professionals are approved or not for MN1, cos in May I want to apply for my
other son(9months).


just be aware from 06/04/2015 the MN1 application fee will be £749 for each child.


Cant wait for my son application decision, exactly 22 days awaiting.

Hello Guys,

I also intend to send my son's MN1 form through post on 3rd April with £669 fee. However I just read on page 6 & 30 of MN1 form guide that "The date of application is the date it is received by the Home office or the receiving authority" Page 30 mentions "It is not the date on which you send it". As you all know that due to Ester holidays application will be received on 7th April; Does this means we send £749 as fee???

I am EEA national (Portuguese) and I applied for my 4 years old son on 09/03/2015,1(3) UK born, through Haringey NCS.

HO received the application on 10/03/2015, acknowledgement letter received on 18/03/2015 dated 12/03/2015 the same
as deducted fee.

I am still waiting for the decision.

Hi Dal,
It is very difficult to tell how long an application takes to be completed. At the moment if you look the time lines there is wast variation in processing times between applications.probably from 2 week to six month. Most of cases get their certificate within 5 weeks. So I would say Just relax and hopefully you will receive yours any time next week.

Hi guys and senior member, I need help.

I have recently got British naturalization approval, oath is due next week, and my baby born in India and got ILE visa and now she is in London since January 2015. I am applying for my baby registration or naturalization on behalf of my certificate.

question 1: which section i am eligible, i mean section 3 (2) or section 3 (5).

I am in this country for more than 12 years now, never been absent for more than 2 months.

Question 2. referee signatures doctor is not agree to sign, so I took one signature from VAT private company director and other my friend is it OK for my baby application.

Hi,

I applied for my baby MN1 Through Ncs Islington council on 26/03/2015 but still money has not been deducted nor any sign of acknowledgement. Has this happened to anyone else at all or its just me.

Please advise what can be done to check. I have checked tracking that file got delivered to homeoffice next day though.

I am also in the same boat as yours. I applied through NCS Basingstoke on 1 April 2015 for my son (1 year old) but yet to get the money deducted from the bank. Not sure when they will deduct.

Please update me in case they have it deducted.

Children under 6 years are required only for digital photograph not fingerprint .You can also read the new MN1 GUIDE for more information.
