Did you wait for 1 year after getting ILR or applied for Naturalisation before holding ILR for 1 year?

Thank you Maliksahb, i applied within 2 weeks of getting ILR as i was married to BC and living in UK legally for last 8 years. So i qualified for the 3 year rule as a spouse of bc.

I am in the same boat. My wife applied just after 1 month of ILR covering 3 years so that mean such applications are taking time...

The letter says I need to contact my council for the ceremony within 21 days. I am doing this but not getting through to them. will keep trying for the rest of the day

I sent my Naturalization application on 23/03/15 using NCS. It was received there on 24/03/15.
The fee deducted on 09/04/15. Now waiting for acknowledgement letter.

Congratulations, i received letter dated 31/03/2015 as well on 10/04/2015 and I called council twice and they said they were busy so they will call me later or monday, they didn't call on Friday so i will need to wait, did you manage to book yours?
Also I'm a bit confused as some people ln forum have mentioned they received approval and waiting for invitation letter, are there 2 separate letters?

Yes attend your ceremony and you'll immediately become a British citizen and receive your ceremony certificate.

Speak to your MP personally. Then they will follow up on that. Its the good time to contact MP's they will listen to you as election is just around the corner.

The HO has said the same thing to the MP his case is in process.
This is very frustrated

The MP environment is just time waster because MP don't have power to expedite the Home office shit policy of ignoring of any request for update the progress of application. Especially if you were as refugee route. I am one of them who were waiting for decision since last year February now 14 month is past and still waiting.

Called UKBA to get update today 13/04/2015, they would not even take my reference number to provide an update. They asked that I wait until the 6 months has lapsed to call back.
