Switch to Tier 1 Entrepreneur frm C- VISIT - BUSINESS in UK?

Hi,

Good Morning to All, I want some help regarding the switching of the VISA to Tier 1 Entrepreneur VISA. following is my situation.

I have the C- VISIT - BUSINESS which I had got till 10/03/2016 with Multi entry in it. I come here to buy some machines and get it delivered to my company in Middle East. I see some poteltial oppurtunities here and wish to switch for Tier 1 Entrepreneur VISA,

1.I have 200K money held in the account,
2. And all the documents and IELTS cleared as well.
My question is , Is it possible to switch the VISA from C- VISIT - BUSINESS to Tier 1 Entrepreneur from UK?

I get mixed responses and from the UKBA or gov.uk websites, its not clear whether I ll be able to switch from UK or I need to go back to my country and apply as separate VISA? Can someone shed some light and guide please?

I don't think you may switch if 245DD(e) fails.

(vii) as a Businessperson or
(xxii) a visitor who has been undertaking permitted activities as a prospective
entrepreneur

As whenever I was coming to UK, I bought some machines to my company in my country and to others in my country. And I have proofs of the purchase to my company in hometown.

Can someone please shed some light on this as I need to decide whether I shall go to my back-home and then apply or is there anyway to switch from here? I am in a urgency as my 6 months will be ending soon before which I need to travel back.

They may be referring to the "Business" (CTA) or "Visit - Prospective Entrepreneur" (56O) categories. This may be different from what you have, "Visit - Business" (46G).

Were you able to resolve this query? Since there is no longer a prospective entrepreneur visa, were you able to apply for the Tier 1 entrepreneur directly with the C-business visit visa?
