Applying in two weeks - Spelling mistakes in name

Post by jd » Thu Sep 27, 2007 7:04 pm

Hi buddies,

I'm going to apply for HSMP in next couple of weeks. I've a simple question but want you opinion.

My name is UMAR but in bank account name it is OMAR and on ITR it is written as OMER.

Do you think it would be a problem? Though in the letter from employer my account number is written and on ITR my national identity card number is present. Also, i'm going to provide NTN certificate which has correct name on it.

Your comments please.

Thanks,
JD

I have the same problem, and I think alot of people do. I wonder why we don't receive full answer from one of the forum gurus ?

tarek131,

I've somehow managed this for ITR by getting letter from employer where they mentioned that it was mistake by employer that spelling were erroneously wrong.

Don't know this will satisfy caseworker or not? but i don't have any other option.

Also, you are right that this is very common and sensitive issue. Everyone should give their valuable input.

Thanks,
JD
