QUESTION: Having a baby between applications

Post by omarinbox » Sun May 24, 2015 1:02 am

My wife is with me in the UK now and has been for a few months and it looks like she may be pregnant or she may get pregnant.

How does this effect our application when the FLR (M) comes around in a couple of years?

I understand it is 18 600 plus an extra £3.800 for the first child.

I was wondering is there any way we can get UKBA NOT to count a child born between getting a spouse visa and and applying for FLR (M) toward financial requirements?

I would hate to have to discuss the prospect of abortion over such a thing as trivial as financial "requirements"

Help...

If child is British, then there is no extra financial burden for child when applying for FLR(M).
