Ok so I was issued an eea2 rc last November, an te missus and I were over the moon. Went back home with her came back, no problems. So far, so good.
Now my ambitions have lead me to change my career from business development to recruitment, and I have landed a job with one of the aces in the said field, but the job requires me to go to the eu once every 2 months for about 3 days on client calls and eveluations.
Now the problem is, the wife isn't working but is only an intern.
Although we do have csi, and BOTh of us are covered, I'm not sure how to prove self sufficiency, specially after reading many cases of detentions at London airports.
Also taking into account that if I get detained I'm about certainly getting fired, I would like to know for sure if what we have is enough to prove self sufficiency?
Also I would like to enquire if there is any way to ensure that my eu travels alone are safer?
I do understand that my enquiery may sound rudimentary to some, but it is something tht bothers me deeply anyway.
My eu visa would be tourist in nature, which I have no problems applying over and over again.
However it is the coming back to the uk part that I'm bothered about. When I entered the uk last time around, there were no problems, but some officers are more unforgiving than others, and I'm sure you will appreciate that if I have to else my job an family here an live somewhere that is now an alien land to me, the consequences will be disastrous.
