From April 2015, you are require to register for biometrics, (even if you submitted it during your ILR). You will surely receive a letter requesting one (Probably after a week once your money is debited)

Thanks for the info. I also read the same in portal, but asked the NCS person when i submitted the application. She told me that I wouldn't be asked to give biometrics again. Anyway, let me wait..

i believe B-M are a must
obviously the reason why they have put this requirement back in place is to ensure they want to make sure there is nothing happened since your last BM which might affect the application( i.e immigration history during travelling or any other offense

I expected to receive the Biometrics letter too with the acknowledgement letter. But I didn't.
