Travelling with a month left on eea residence card

Hi,
My eea residence card expires in two months exactly.
Still marrried, eu wife exercising treaty rights.
If i were to travel next month by myself, by then only a month remaining on my current RC before we apply to further it whichever way, is there a likelihood there might be some issues at the airports?

Only being cautious as I will be travelling without the wife and not much time left on rc.
