It looks like 4 -5 month wait until any approvals, with nearly 22500 applications pending in March and only 95 case workers, holidays etc, I'm not very optimistic. I am not sure are all those applications are AN or are they combined with MN. Nevertheless its a huge backlog

My wife applied in June and we are scheduled to move houses in a month.

Does any one know if we should let the home office know that we are moving houses now or wait for a couple of weeks?

Also has anyone who applied in June got a decision yet?

April Applicants just started having their decisions, I'm really thinking you should search the treat before asking hehe.

Hi All,

I applied for british citizenship along with my minor son, on 6th May,2015 through nationality checking service.So far I ahve not recieved any communication from home office except application money being debited from my account on 8th june.

I called home office and the nationality checking service helplines but both said since its less than 6 month, I sholuld just wait. Can anyone please send me the relevant contact or emails that i can contact.

I need to make travel arragements in a couple months and this non response from home office is really stressing me out!

You can update your address details with home office.

Shot in the dark but wandered if anyone's heard anything yet. Can see some of Mays Approval. June seems to be only few applicants. Any good news for anyone? That could give a lady some hope!!

Write a letter and send it Royal Mail Recorded, same address as your acknowledgement letter came from. I never once got a reply to emails at that address, however every letter I've sent via Royal Mail has been responded to, and generally two to three days after receipt.

Nothing for any Juners yet. my husbabd applied 2nd week june so expecting an answer by early november

According to the naturalisation application reference here, I really wondered that I have not still received my Ack. n Bio. letters from H.O. I have sent, emailed and faxed my request to HO on 22/6, 6/7 n 9/7 respectively. Unfortunately, no reply is received. As I have planned to leave UK with my family on 17.7.2015 and return Uk at the end of August. I certainly feel anxious and helpless at present. What can I do? ( After I have finished my NCS service, I got a receipt informing that "If u are planning to leave the UK at all in the two months following your application u need to be aware that u will be invited to enrol ur bio at some point in that period. ......n failure to do so in the requisite period could result in the rejection of ur application." ) I misunderstand that I do not need to enrol my Bio as I have enrolled it in 2014. I find this website after my submission for the naturalisation application

UPDATE!!

I received all of my documents today as well as an approval letter!! I wasn't expecting it at all.
I applied on the very first day of June. In fact, I sent my documents to the Home Office on the Friday or Saturday before the 01/06, so I could also be classified as an end of May applicant, I suppose.

The letter says that you need to wait for a separate invitation to attend a citizenship ceremony, and you should get it within 2 weeks in the post, so I'll update when I have more information.

What they meant was that all applications which were decided after 30 June are considered pending, in line with published statistics. So, consider this scenario:

Submitted on 1 May
Decided on 1 August

In this case, they will say the application is pending, because they can only report the status of cases which were decided before 30 June.
