CAN I APPEAL ENTRY CLEARANCE DECISION

HI,
i got my hsmp approval in june , iam going to apply for entry clearance . and my question is if my ec is got rejected, can i apply for appeal as my hsmp approval will expire at that time.

the six month validity is to apply for ec only not for the appeal iam i right please advice

IMHO you can only apply for EC if u have valid approval letter

if its expired, they will definately turn down ur application

U should Only apply for EC if u have valid approval letter otherwise first request the homeoffice to send u a fresh copy of approval letter.

Most importantly, Its free of charge

thanks for u response . but my question is iam applying for ec now (my hsmp approval is valid upto mid of december). if on any reason ec got rejected can i apply for appeal though hsmp approval validity expires.

my hsmp is valid when iam applying for ec
is any condition that my appeal also be within the validity period?

Maha, Be positive and apply for ur EC. Keep faith in your documents you provide to the BHC.

What u should do is to make sure that your initial EC application is within the validity of HSMP approval. If u have a rejection you can re-apply or appeal even if your Hsmp approval subsequently expires. When an approval is subsequently obtained - no matter how long- u can always get a updated copy of your approval.

I am not able to understand this point Alex. If my HSMP gets expired and my EC is rejected how should I re-apply my EC? Could you please throw some more light on to this.
