Is there anyone from LATE MAY applicants who hasnt been approved or is it only me now????? I dont understad whats happennnng with my case now.

Im May 18 applicant still waiting for approval as well (10 years + ILR)..No worries, Im hoping should receive in a month as you can see April applicants are nearly finishing...Fingers crossed..

I'm a British expat applying for my newborn child from abroad. This is her primary passport as we had one set of papers we could send so i sent to the uk hoping itd be quicl. My previous childs was received within one month back in 2012.
I applied for this one 21st may. Didn't get biometrics until I ran them down which was late July.

Applied 5 may via NCS Bolton as 4 applicants (1 adult n 3 children) ...pretty straightforward application but bearing a long excruciating wait...

Me as well. Straight forward case of 5 years Tier 1 and 1 year ILR. Applied on 11th May in NCS Bedfordshire, received by HO on 14th May, Acknowledgement on 5th June, Biometrics done on 26th June.......no approval so far.

I applied on 30th April 2015, received by HO on 5th May 2015.... still waiting... 152nd day today.

HO is becoming a typical public organisation, I mean being lazy but very active while racking their fee up.

Hey Sylime,

How did they return your documents? I included a cover letter in my application saying they can charge my credit card for the return of the documents via a registered post as I had no way of including a prepaid one being from Australia.

I don't need my documents early, just wondering how they will send it.

I applied on 9 May, but it was received by HO on 12th. Did biometrics in late June - still nothing. Rest assured, you are not alone. Loads of people still waiting.

Similar timeline , applied 18 May, & bio 10 July..I can see few more guys as well..I had to push them to debit money..Hoping this months be for May applicants as well..

Hi Carrick,
My documents were delivered by Australia Post/courier, but I had to sign for them (I actually missed the person who delivered them so I had to pick them up at the post office). I didn't have to pay for it (I had no idea what to do about that as I was worried about not being able to send something with the documents to have them returned safely. But it was all ok in the end). I didn't ask for mine - they just sent them back with the biometrics letter. So you will probably get yours with your biometrics letter too.
I am still waiting for approval. I have a feeling it will be a while yet as I didn't do the biometrics until August.

Not necessarily. I applied 28th May, HO had my application 29th. Did biometrics 20th June. Still haven't heard anything - but people with a very similar timeline to mine have had approval.

It all depends on the caseworker and their workload. Everybody just sit tight, you'll hear back eventually.

Does any one on this thread had to face a situation where they lost their LIfe in UK test certificate and applied without it. i.e. either by adding a letter saying why its not available etc..

Nothing to do with Scotland. I'm American and applied from London. I applied after her and received my approval (10 Sept 2015 but dated 04 Sept 2015) and attended the ceremony (18 Sept) before her dates. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone from the Home Office in August said it just depends on how quickly the case worker assigned to the application works and if additional checks need to be done. When he rang me, the case worker hadn't even looked at my application yet! I thought it'd take a LOT longer after hearing that.

When you say you haven't heard anything, do you mean since you applied? As in you haven't had a request for your biometrics to be submitted?
