Hi All,

We (me and my wife) applied for naturalsation on 1st July 2015.

Today we got a brown envolope for my wife and the letter says they have accepted her name change to married name and issued a naturalisation certificate under married name.

If she wants to apply for British Passport she must change her name in the Indian passport first.

Is that mean she got the approval...there is nothing for me though .

really confused we applied together and I was the main applicant and they approved my wife's application first ...is that something normal?

It's quite possible you'll get your approval very soon, in a separate envelope. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
