All must show patience..
Yes there is a long pending list. Here is some evidence found through search online.

What I dont understand is why some very recent apllication, like July, have got approval, if there is a backlog.

Like if you are US/Indian/Australia national take short time to process
Also if any Bangladeshi/pak/Africa took longer ... Gone through march/April/May timeline found this i may be wrong or this country security checks longer to make application decision

I completely agree! To be fair, it's not a bad thing they're a bit more thorough when it comes to the places that, probably in their eyes, a higher risk such as those places where there is extremism terrorism and other war stricken places are happening all over the globe

Just not true mate. I'm Australian and approaching the 6 month mark and still have heard nothing.

I think it's partially true. As a lot of applicants of the same nationality with me (applied during same period of time) all got approved within the same week as I got mine. Makes me think cases are allocated by nationality.
But it does not necessarily mean US/AUS applicants will get faster decisions.

what i ment its just third country took longer for background check they give report late meantime application gone to pending case worker move on to next other applications reamin pending for long time may be something like that

Congrats Minou happy for you. my mails came in today saw a brown envelope i never picked up my mails that fast in my life only to find out it was HMRC, my spirit was totally executed..... Am guessing my case worker is on leave somewhere and cannot be found smh

Your application was received in the Home Office 0n 06 May 2015. You must therefore have been in the UK on 07/May/2015 to meet the requirement.

According to your application form, you left the United Kingdom on 25/04/2010 and returned on 19/05/2010.

As your were not in the UK unit on 07/05/2015, this requirement is not met.

However, if the application is re-signed at section 6 and returned to us, we will be able to continue out consideration.

If you wish to proceed with the application, please return the re-signed application form to us by 12/10/2015.

If no reply is received by 12/10/2015, the application will be refused and the application fee less the ceremony fee retained.

They have sent me a Declaration form to sign and date what I have submitted as part of initial naturalisation application .

Note: What i got from application is I am not in UK 5 years back on the same date.

Please suggest me whether I need to proceed with Lawyer or just sign the doc send to them.

I got one letter that application is approved and in the same letter they asked me to call local council to book ceremony date.
