I know his has been discusses in application to different situations, so here is mine which is somewhat similar but still leaves me in a grave doubt whether required earnings evidence is sufficient.
I am due to sumbit ny 2nd HSMP FLR application (being in 1+3 category). Being an independent contractor and a director and sole shareholder of my limited company I can present the following documents as evidence to support my earnings over the period of 12 months within the past 15 months:
1) Self-assessment tax return for 2006-2007 prepared by my managing agent. It has not been submitted to Inland Revenue yet since it's just been prepared by them together with a letter from them with calculation of my tax liability . This tax return covers only half of the earnings claimed;
2) Personal bank statements for the entire period where both PAYE salary and dividends were paid to - hence there has been no business bank statements for this period
3) Letter from my managing agent, member of Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales, on their letterhead, explaining their role in managing accounts of my limited company, confirming that I am a sole shareholder and confirming by gross and net income for the period of of 12 months within the past 15 months;
4) pay advise letters and dividends vouchers for the entire period (no stamp or signature on them)
5) services contract between my limited company and the client.
