Tier 2 - Dependant - Spouse - extension

Post by ankitsa17 » Wed Dec 02, 2015 9:30 pm

Hi,

I qualify for my ILR from a Tier 2 - General- in March 2016 but my wife will not qualify for ILR until 2018. Her Tier 2 dependent visa runs out in 2017. Which form does she needs to fill for this?

I have browsed the forums and this question has been answered with the set of guidance notes which I have got but I couldn't get the form so if you can provide the link for that then it will be very helpful.

Also, from her employment and international travel point of view, will that be okay considering my Tier 2 won't exist after March?

Thanks

If you apply for ILR based on Tier 2 G, her existing leave continues and she can apply to extend her leave close to current visa expiry. Tier 2 G dependent is now an online option but it is highly likely that things will change between now and 2017 when she applies for her extension.
