You application has been on hold pending our enquiries in relation to your ETS qualification. In order to consider this case it may be necessary to invite you for interview. We cannot therefore provide a date as to when your case will be decided"

Very strange reply. Applied on 8th May2015, UK Degree, 5 years Tier1, 1year ILR
why are they consulting ETS when they have copy of my degree.

I'd write a letter to the adress it came from and ask them why you have received a letter wih this when you never even used anything from ETS- as you provided them with a UK DEGREE upon application!


Chances are they've sent it in error or sent to wrong person.

Finally after 7months 1week got the approval letter. Send email enquiry after 6months of waiting on 24th Nov. I have been a silent reader on this forum - many thanks to everyone posting here.
As stated above I have applied for naturalisation without obtaing a Permanent Residence
document beforehand - now the rules are changed and PR document is mandatory.
I have also registered as a member of A8 country for WRS and remained with the first
employer for over a year, therefore there was no need to reapply.
I have not received acknowledgment letter at all.
What is worth mentioning is the fact my biometric enrolment letter arrived after
4.5 months from my application date, so please be patient with your application.

I had a CCJ in my name which was added after the application. Notified HO immediately that I was taking care of it. Still, it went past 6 months deadline. Got my MP involved (which I think it helped).

My thoughts on the process. Long, stressful and unjustified for the money we pay. Excitement had worn off. Looking forward to the future i have one advise for all....be good!! Some things are out of your hand and you must learn to deal with every eventuality.

Contacted HO Via email received below reply after 4 weeks, don't know what exactly that means, any one in similar situation. Any suggestions?
