Finally I've got the brown envelope this Saturday; therefore on the exact day of my application, but 6 months later (i.e. applied on the 12th of June through NCS and received the envelope on the 12th of December). They still haven't replied to any of my e-mails, although now it doesn't matter any longer.

Later on I'll call to book a place for the citizenship ceremony.

UPDATE - there is no update
Today is 6 months and 1 week since I applied. Called them on Friday last week. The woman on the phone said to me they count 6 months since the date money was cleared from the account and advised me to call on 4th of January in order to contact case worker - to check he/she needs more information from me... It is so unfair.... I've sent e-mail to them today with no hopes for answer really...

It's more than 7 months for me now. Wrote them e-mail on 22/12/15 and today. No respond apart of the automatic one advising to wait for the reply for 20 working days. I called them on 30th December and today. In December they told me my application is under consideration, today- being processed. The lady from HO who returned my call today said they have no idea how long it might take as they have more severe security check now and all(!!!) applications are being delayed - but we all know it is not true, as people with the later application dates get their happy brown envelopes (I am genuinely happy for them. My colleague is one of them, applied on 23/06 and got her passport on 21/12). She also said it is nothing I can do but wait It is very frustrating, really... considering my application is the straightforward one.... Is anyone who applied in mid June still waiting?
