Hopefully in this coming new year, we will receive our approvals soon.
I rang 2 weeks a ago citizenship office regarding about ceremony in 2016. She told me that according to her guess, there is no cerremony till March or April.

Hi xxx,

Your application is currently at an advanced stage of processing. While it
is not possible to give an exact timeframe, this office will be in touch
with you as soon as a decision has been reached.

Provided everything is in order with your application you will be invited
to attend the next available ceremony. Please be advised that there are
currently no dates set for future ceremonies to take place in 2016. As soon
as one has been announced it will appear on our website
http://www.inis.gov.ie/

I wonder, what stage it actually means? The previous time I've enquired (early November), I was told that my application is currently processing with a view to establish lawful residence and good character...

I am very curious as to the date of the next ceremony. Would it be fair to say that it looks unlikely there will be one until at least beginning of March, since they usually give couple of months notice about the date, and there are no news yet?

No one really knows what the INIS is up to s per the next citizenship ceremony. There could be a small ceremony coming up in February in one of the counties outside Dublin but by and large, we should all expect the usual large number approved applicants citizenship ceremony for March/April. Let's keep positive into the new year!

You look good for an approval already and barring any complexity with your application, you're most likely to get your approval letter in the post in coming days/couple of weeks as the INIS releases the next batches of application approvals. Good luck in your wait!

The letter is self-explanatory and what it says is that your application is nearing finality and your approval is in the offing.
