You're correct. Use the EEA (PR) form:background wrote:Thanks very much for your help. The above statement is news to me, I thought I needed to fill in the EEA PR form, not the EEA3???18august2014 wrote:However, to be able to apply for British citizenship, you should provide a document to certify permanent residence (called 'DCPR' - applied via the EEA3 form) AND have held permanent residence status for at least 12 months

Any October Applicants should please come forward and share their timeline.

Ally007,
Was your application for PR on basis of unmarried Partners?? if yes,
Did you received COA with right to work?
Any unmarried partner received COA with confirmation of Right to work?
Thanks
Mary
That situation can easily be explained with a brief cover note (plus marriage certificate) to show the connection between the names.djabea wrote:file the app the docs are ready just one last thing i want to ask
my wife is travelling in march with her ID.
i want submit her passport but its still without the maiden name however the PR is with the maiden name is that will cause a problem with HO?? please any advice?
@mi55ytee, AM happily married with a beautiful daughter and yes I receive my COA with Right to work after 4weeks of the application.mi55ytee wrote:ally007 wrote:Is there any October applicants hear anything from the HO yet? That's not correct. I applied as an unmarried partner and my COA stated I had a right to work. Why would someone who has been allowed to undertake employment for the previous 5 years all of a sudden be denied this right?Carling40 wrote:mi55ytee wrote:ally007 wrote:Is there any October applicants hear anything from the HO yet? Hi
Unmarried partner receives "short COA" which doesn't have right to work.
Ofcos you can never rule out human error which might make them issue a long COA.
As you don't mention biometrics I wonder if you are an EEA citizen yourself? I have the overall impression that for EEA citizens normally it doesn't take that long.zsozso1969 wrote:Hi All,
My timeline as follows:
Application sent; 22/07/2015

Your work should not be affected as long you submit before the expiry date on the residence card, your employer can always do an ECS check with the home office which will confirm your continued right to work and give your employer statutory excuse of liability for 6 months.mi55ytee wrote:@jennmac, thank you so much. I feel relieved.. i just wanted to know if my work will be affected whilst I am waiting.
Thank you.
