NOC for Tier2 dependent application - India applicants

Post by simantadatta » Fri May 28, 2010 6:31 am

Hi,

If any of you have got a Tier-2 dependent visa from Pune/Mumbai or any other place in India, can you pls let me know whether you required to produce a "Relieving Letter" or "Leave Letter" from your dependent's employer in India ? Or a proof that the dependent (spouse) isn't working for any employer in India ?

Thanks!

More info can be found in the below thread,
http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=57697
but I had to repost here because I need to get some first hand info.

Can't see any reasons to leave the earlier post behind and start a new one all together.

Type a letter yourself, or ask your wife to do it, and hand it over to the company to get it signed. As simple as it is.

I don't' know if there is anything more than that to be done, and yes then you can call it whatever you feel like, relieving letter, end of employment letter, anything, but get the job done yourself, it should be easy!

Just take it with you to avoid any problems.

There is no such requirement, but check with local VFS center / local BHC if you need first hand info.

This said, please don't make multiple posts on the same topic.

Got visa for my dependent under Tier 2 staff partner

Post by classic_vmk » Sun Jun 03, 2012 10:37 am

Hi All,
Here is my case,decision urs.

Me and my wife applied for Tier 2(ICT) staff migrant/Partner visa on 29th May 2012.My wife is working in one of India's largest IT company and I metioned the same while filling the online application.

My company travel people asked us to carry Leave letter/NOC from my wife's company otherwise they said they will not responsible for if the visa for my wife get rejected. But I was decided to apply without Leave letter/NOC since am paying the money for my wife visa(Since its is short term Tier 2 my company wont pay for partner.)

Here the list of documents I handed over to VFS for my wife.
1.Passport
2.Online visa application print out
3.One photo
4.Original marraige certificate
5.Sponsership letter from my company - For spouse
6.Covering letter from my company - For spouse
7.Copy of COS
8.Visa rejection letter (Since our L1B got rejected)

We got our visa by 02-Jun-2012.

Note:I Have been already travelled to Aus,Schengen and some more countries.

Almost I have given every information that I can..and hoep some will find this wil be usefull for them..

All the best.. :)

Hi Simantadatta,
Looks this thread is quite old and not sure it is relevant to post my query now. Anyway, I'm in the same situation now, My company(Tier 2 ICT visa sponsor) asked us to provide the leave letter or Resignation acceptance letter for my wife, as she is working in an IT firm.

Did you managed to process your wife's dependant visa ? Could you please share your thoughts and experience on this . It may help us ? ..

Others members opinions are most welcome .

Thanks
Viju.

There is no such requirement. It may be your company policy to ask for one.

Hi All,

I found this thread relevant to my case.My spouse is primary applicant and relocating to Ireland on critical skill work permit. I am also planning to go with her on dependent VISA. I am working in private company in India. My spouse's company didn't ask for any such NOC or leave letter from my company. Neither VFS and INIS site mention about any such document so i dont think any such document is needed for my dependent visa application. But still need an opinion if any body else has similar experience.

This is not relevant to the UK Immigration visa Tier 2 General. Please post your topic in the Ireland sub forum further down the main forum page if you have not done so already.

UK Immigration route work visas and Ireland immigration route work visa are completely different, not the same country or rules.

Also please do not dig up topics that are more than 7 years old.
