UK-Short Term ICT and Wife Travelling on Tourist Visa

Hi,

I will be travelling on short term Intra company transfer Visa to UK for period of 5 weeks. I would like my wife to accompany me.

Since visit duration is only 5 weeks , i would prefer to apply only tourist visa for her. I am planning to submit both my and her application on same date

Can you advise me on below
1) Is it good idea that I submit both application at same time or should I apply for her visa only after I get my visa but then duration is very short just 5 weeks and thus she may not be able to travle with me

Issue I see is I am currently not in UK , so I dont have UK contact no that I can mention in sponsorship letter. Also my UK hotel will be booked by company only after I get visa

2) I dont have home at India and stay with my parents but can provide strong bank statement to ensure I can sponsor her visit

Apart from my and her investment in bank FD, account statement though we intend to return back ,i dont have much to prove below as we don't own house and stay with my parents.
- Strong ties with your country of residence i.e. you'll return back after completion of the trip

Can you guide what can be written to prove above point.

They won't consider fixed deposits. Funds must be liquid and immediately accessible.

If she cannot show strong ties, coupled with the fact that you are going on a work visa, highly unlikely that she will be granted a visitor visa. UKVI may very well see it as you/her trying to circumvent the rules by not applying for a Tier 2 ICT dependent visa and suspect that she will not leave the UK.

I am visiting only for 5 weeks and thus would prefer to take her on General Visitor visa as cost of dependent visa for ICT is very high

I am planning for letter on similar lines .Can you advise if this looks fine or what area i should detail more

I would like to sponsor my Wife - XYZ for Standard Visitor visa as she intend to travel with me and visit tourist attractions in UK.
During her stay in the UK, I will bear all the responsibilities including, financial responsibilities, return air tickets to travel from India to UK and back, travel expenses within UK, housing and food. She would be staying with me in the house accommodation provided by my company which will be located nearby work address mention in my CoS.

Hence I request the British High Commission to grant my wife a Visitor’s visa.

Finally I assure that I and XYZ would return to India, our home country before the UK visit visa duration expires. Me and her both will be travelling back XYZ as my short term work assignment will be complete and I will be resuming my Job at XYZ organiation in India. I and xyz stay in family owned house along with my parents. XYZ has mother and is also having 2 sisters in India.

Can you please advise on
1) Should me and my wife apply together for visa Or Should I apply first and then once I receive mine I should apply for her

2) Since its only 5 weeks in COS, and I am planning to apply for 5 weeks , Can my wife come on Tourist Visa as short term dependent cost is high and duration is only 5 weeks

Guys, I have the exactly same situtation.
I am goign to UK on Tier 2 ICT visa for 4 weeks. How should i apply visa for my wife - Tourist visa? Together or not?
