Kids got British Passport; Return of BRP???

Hi All,

I am assuming that some posts already exist on this topic with little relevance. My kids (daughter and a son under 5 years old) got BP last year (2015) when I finally got my ILR. I need to ask that was I supposed to return their BRP's immediately after they got their passports as I have been quite ignorant with respect to knowledge on this topic. If yes then should I expect any kind of financial penalty if I return these BRP's now.
I have been quite worried since I read about this £1000 penalty as you can expect any thing in this country.
I would really appreciate your help.
Also I got my Certificate of Naturalisation on 06 Jan- 2016 so should I return my ILR card to them ASAP as I have read this on this so helpful forum.
