Hi everyone - my wife got her spouse visa yesterday so wanted to share the timelines. Note I did NOT pay for any expedited service.

My wife just received the one email saying the processed visa application had been received at the UK Visa Application Centre on 3/3/16 and with a CRM ref. No other emails saying decision made. Then my wife received a phone call from the Lahore office of Gerrys saying to come and collect the passport on 03/03/16.

I am genuinely and very pleasantly surprised at how quickly the decision was made - especially when you consider I sent some additional follow up documents on the 22nd of Feb that I had missed (my passport, home inspection report, wedding invite etc).

Inshallah all of you still waiting to hear will also receive a fast response.

EDIT: Anyone know when I am supposed to receive my supporting documents? I sent the original TB certificate to Sheffield and would need to receive it so I can courier to my wife before she travels to the UK.

Today I have received my documents back from Sheffield exactly after 12 weeks time greeting cards and photographs missing but no email from visa section or a call for collection. There was aslo a A4 format printed paper with heading SETLEMENT PAKISTAN with different check list and in the middle was marker hand written VAF number PPE and no decision on middle of the a4 size paper.

stupid reason ECO says i am already married in pakistan but i have no chance to make marriage to any girl in pakistan. i applied in 2014 visit visa maybe my consultant attached fake documents i was really never about this refusal because when i receive my application my consultant with me and he is really bullshit man he don't read me my refusals but one of them i read and and take photos and send my refusal to my immigration advisor in uk.
