An Article 10/20 card should get the holder through the door.jtb0 wrote:Can a residence card of a family member of a Union citizen issued in Spain be used to move to any other EEA state to live and work? Or would the card holder have to apply for a visa/permit in other states? Particularly interested in knowing if it can be used for these purposes in the UK.
Thanks. Any idea what happens once the holder is in the door? What conditions/restrictions/requirements/benfits apply? Can the holder work, access NHS, social security.....? How long can the holder stay? Where is the official guidance for the public on this?noajthan wrote:An Article 10/20 card should get the holder through the door.jtb0 wrote:Can a residence card of a family member of a Union citizen issued in Spain be used to move to any other EEA state to live and work? Once in the UK, and assuming that you are a direct family member and your EEA relative is accompanying you, you can exercise all benefits you are entitled to. I believe that you will also need to apply for a UK Residence Card once you move to the UK (i.e. the Spanish residence card can be used to travel to the UK, but does not confer any additional benefits within the UK).jtb0 wrote:Thanks.
