Need help with ILR application

Hi Tbh I only provided employment history of 5 years.
Here follows the other details:-
Cover letter
Payment receipt
Booking confirmation
12 payslips
Employer letter
Salary summary letter
Life in the uk
Msc degree
Application form
And employment history
That's It. Keep it simple they will ask you if they need.
I had absence letter e-tickets paid holidays etc
SA 302s of only 2 years as I was registered only for 2 years
SA statements
But they didn't even ask anything. I saw CW working on my case and in 20 to 30 minutes she wrapped it up and handed over to reception people. She made few photo copies. And called me the confirm name Dob and sign.

Did they give you any form to fill related to Self Employment ?

Oh yes within 5 minutes of submitting documents. It's a must nowadays for tier 1 G applications that's what I got the impression.

Its a must now for T1G applicants who have been self employed or director of a limited company during the period of their T1G visas. For example, if someone on T1G was always a permanent employee, then it is not required.

What i understand from my experience that as far as you are T1G applicant they will ask you to fill the form. The form is basically asks you wether you worked as self employed in last 5 year if yes which years. And are you satisfied with returns and tax paid for those years.

In my case, they asked me if I was self employed? I said no I have never been self employed but have been a director of my limited company only for the 1st year of the 5 year period, the essence being I was employed and an employee of my own company.

Then he handed over the form and said this was only for the ones that have either been self-employed or director of their own limited company even if it was for a short period.

Permanent employees are not required to file their self-assessment forms. It is only for those who have either been self employed or director of a limited company.

So the forms become NA for permanent employees.

i was filling application i got one confusion .

entry into the UK at the beginning of the period of stay on which this application is based.


in the end of this question it is written ( on which this application is based ).
i am applying for tire 1 general ILR . should i write my first visa stamp date of tire general 20th April 2011 .

or when i first time came UK 1 Sep 2006 .

plz kindly help me in this . i was thinking it will be first one in that my application is based on .

So, why the confusion?

Couple of members have shared their experiences now telling us that they were not asked to pay additional fee on the day of appointment however they have used the new form.
Therefore it is logical to conclude:
if you have booked the appointment before 18th March 2016, you will not need to pay the increased fee however you will have to use the 03/2016 version for Form O.

Having said that, keep yourself prepared for anything.

HI ,
just want to tell every one my ILR is approved yesterday in Liverpool premium service .
no question asked . my case was all straight forward .
they gave me paper about previous self employment . i did one year that was in 2010
and i paid all tax proper .
so i write every thing properly .
after 2 half hours . approval .
said boimatric come in 7 working days .
just want to ask 2 questions .
1 - is it come by DX COURIER ?.
2- Is it sign for ( some one sign it for ) or just they put through to the door . ?

thanks for replay .
when i applied first time tire 1 general that time i showed my self employment about 14000 . and on that i paid proper tax . after that all my earning was employment .
even now when i went for ilr all my earning on employment .
no amendment in anything .
i also called HM REVENUE . send me letter and also doc for my self employment year .
they wrote that all my tax is up to date & also attached 2 papers of of that year earning and tax paid .

Yes. From the 18th March the PSC premium appointment for ILR will be £2,375 (£1,875 + £500).

Not sure if this will help, but the Isle of Man is exempt from the 18th March rule, the legislation takes effect from the 6th April. See,

So if you dont' live in the Isle of Man, this may not apply to you.
