Help in completing naturalisation (AN) form.

Post by disturbed » Tue Apr 26, 2016 2:20 pm

Hi all,

I read this forum a lot and I must confess that you have all been of immense assistance to people here.

I hope someone can be of help to me here. Thanks in advance!

I got my PR in April 2015 after divorce from my EEA wife. I can apply for naturalisation a year after but I have some questions about completing the AN form.

1. I am with a new partner now but we are not married, do I enter her details in Section 1.32 - 1.37? She has overstayed her visa, will this be an issue?

2. Should I complete Section 1.38 - 1.43 of my previous marriage?

3. I am a Director of a company and also the only employee, do I complete Section 1.46 as employee or director or both? What documents do I need to put forward here? I am on PAYE and that is what I used to apply for PR.

4. In Section 1.50, can I use the Employment History obtained from HMRC (dated 24 April 2014) used from my PR application and P60s for 2015 and 2016 or do I need to write them?

5. I have been issued a couple of parking tickets in the past both of which has been paid but I don't have their records anymore, do I need to put these in Section 3 and where can I get such information from?

6. Do I need to include the Decree Absolut along my application, though I am applying based on 12 months of Permanent Residence.

7. I have read in this post about ignoring section 1.3 and completing section 2.4, will I state that I am a family member of an EEA national even after divorce?

Every assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks!

Some members are put off when such a long post with questions is asked, especially when the guidance notes and booklet explain most.

1. If your 'new partner' is not your spouse, then no you do not list the details. If spouse, then yes.

2. Yes.

3. Both. P60 and SA302

4. You need to list your employment in the form as asked. PR and Citizenship rules and requirements are different and documentary evidence is different.

5. Normal parking fines should not be an issue unless you were taken to court. DVLA might have details.

6. No.

7. No harm in writing date you got PR in 1.3.
