no status update today also.

i know there are still week 2 and 3 applicants waiting - but i have started feeling very restless and impatient. :oops: :cry:

planning to call BHC and ask what strategy they have in place to handle backlogs :?: they should have anticipated this :?: - if we knew that processing time would increase by 10 days we cud have applied in november itself - i vaguely remember early and mid nov applicants getting result in 10 days or so. :idea: :arrow: :?: :!:

HI,
i think they are processing based on the date of travel.....
So I have added in the signature abt my date of travel i entered in app...

Can everybody say their date of travel in the application...

guys

finally my SMS status reflected the state of my case. it says "The shipment delivered to blue dart courier on 22/01/2008"...so i can expect the pasport to reach my chennai home tmrw..hence i will be travelling tonight or tmrw in flight to receive the passport in hand.. :P ...pray for me guys...

I can see lot of panic faces, hearts here..guys just wait for ur turn tats it..some example is if you had been to thirupathi before in vacation time, waiting won be an issue for u..cos they give the ultimate waiting therapy :? ...

the same way thnk tat u filed EC in vacation time & hence got to wait for it little longer..but never mind you will surely reach ur destiny i mean u wil get EC...all de best too all..tata..

I have sent a sms "visa uk G*******" and got reply as "Sorry! Invalid Country Code/ Passport Number.."

Any Clue. I sent from Vodafone Mobile

Ada pongappa..Oru update'um illa..adhan kept my mouth shut...:( indha week'um i dont think they will clear any applications..Just that they will again pile up these applications and claim it to be a back log :( :twisted: I guess,as their mail suggested me,I will get it only by Feb 15th! Grr..

Even i got he same reply when i tried via Airtel! Aircel doesnt support it i guess..!! :(

Vishal,
The Case number will be mentioned in the mail reply from BHC,if you ever sent one.See the Subject line of the mail and it will have it this way- "Our case num 7*****"

Still the same status and I am on the 22nd day of processing.

I dont have a clue. I sent one more fax today to BHC to expedite since I have to be there on 7th of Jan to kickoff a project and now my employer gonna kick me... :D

day 15 got over for me today .. :)

are we still having applicants from 1st week who have not yet got result - if there are forum members from 1st week who only read the posts then pls pls post your status here - it will really help others.

i feel the rate at which 2 nd week processing is moving - their back log goes even further "back" than feared.

very blue :cry: .....how long more to wait ? a month ?

Hmmm,
I can see people who applied on 2nd week of Dec are still waiting.
On top of it, I cant see not even a single person getting their EC today.
Wonder what BHC is doing :x

He (PM) will know the agony only if he applies for an EC... :D

He is scottish I suppose... anyway we are least bothered about the PM's diplomatic status...

Again... lets all pray for a better tomorrow.

I had a dream of an angel delivering my passport with a smile :) and all of a sudden the devil (alarm) kicked me to go to office :(

venky , shridar , arun and others -

looks like lots of ppl are planning on going through their company from here rather than searching for something new there.

i have also spoken to my manager after hsmp approval about joining the audit team in UK where i have already gone to work 3 times on short term basis ( less than a month each time) but interact regularly over phone. but there is no pressure from their side although they asked in december few times about the status as UK office sent the vacant positions list in dec - most might get filled by jan end i guess

but i am okay to search for something new there also , i feel there are advantages in that also. :?: :?: :?:

anyway , in major ec tension right now - it will be a month this sunday since we applied :!:

By the way any one here got Reff no less than 7780** and havent received EC yet?

I am trying tyo figure out all the possibilities. I pampered them with fax, mails, calls and the last thing left is to tie a 10 pounds note in pigeons leg and send it to the case worker.

What will be tomorrow?
