HI Uk2008,

I was applied on 26-Feb-08 from Vile Parle, Mumbai, but i could n't received any updated information yet. Even I don't know the Integra verification process because I am working with MNC, and I had given the board number not the individual (HR) numbers. May be we will expect the result by 3rd or 4th week of this month.

I have dialed up BDHC number but they have given me same VISA enquiries number (people who read out same status from website).

How to get status updates from BDHC?

Hi Arun,

I had also applied on 14th Feb but no response as yer. Today morning when I called the Chennai BHDC to get an update, they said that they got my application only on 20th and asked me to call them after 20th March.

I have no idea what to do or rather is there something which I can do?

I tried to explain to them that I had submitted to the Bangalore VFS on 14th but they said that Chennai BHDC received on 20th.

Can you please suggest your mobile number so that I can speak with you.

I had applied for EC on 28th Feb from New Delhi. Is there anybody else who applied from New Delhi and can give any idea as to their current processing times

Call the BDHC and just ask them about your integra report. Just tell them that you are concerned about the report and want to know whether thay have received it or not.

Hi Sriram,
I applied from VFS chennai so my application would have reached BDHC immediately.
As you applied from VFS Bangalore it might have taken time. But even in that case, 6 days is ridiculous.
I dont think there much we can do about it.

Hi,
for those of who are coming to UK ..I have 1 BHK in Staines...Would like to share it with some guy...It is furnished..The house has Broadband,Sky(with Indian Channels),Phone,Spam with white goods and utensils..Decent condition...Let me know if any1 is intrested ..Rent would be 400 per month
It is near Heathrow,so you can drop in directly from Airport

...
But it is NOT for long term..You need to move once you settle down..This is only for those who dont have any thing while you land..

I tried reaching the BDHC Chennai number and they said that they wont be able to give any status anymore and asked me to contact the VFS centralised number 080-40084008. On contacting them they asked me my reference number and DOB and updated that my application is under process. Do any of you have any other alternate number?

I am not sure what to do. I wanted to check with you all whether directly going to the BDHC Chennai office would be helpful. Would they update me on the status? I dont even have any update whether my Integra also is done or not?

Can any of you help with your valuable inputs.

Hi sriram,

I have applied on 6th feb but still didn't get any decision..... when contacted through mail they said it takes some more time.. don't know exact reason why its getting delayed. we have to just wait.. hopefully u may need not wait as long as I do

u can mail them @ Chennai.VisaEnquiry@fco.gov.uk mentioning ur passport number regarding the status

Integra : I got a call from my HR on 7th March regarding the integra verification. They were asked to fill a form. I'm not sure the outcome of this.

Received my VISA yesterday, thanks everyone for help.

For People applying from Mumbai / Pune, BDHC counter phone is: 022-22813616 for integra / ec status enquiry, they operate from 1:30 PM - 4 PM.

Below are my timeline
25th Feb - Applied from Pune VFS
10th Mar - Integra report received by BDHC
11th Mar - VISA granted for 2 yrs (12 working days)

Came to know from my HR that she received a call on Monday for verification
But they didnt ask for any emails and stuff is that the protocol now

I thought they used to call and ask for an email also. Can somebody elaborate on this?

Hi,

I have applied under HSMP Visa category and I got valid visa from
April 18th 2008 as I have mentioned that I will be travelling to UK on
April 18 2008.

But unexpectedly I got an offer from UK and the employer is asking to
join in UK within 15 days, in any case is this possible to travel
before April 18 if I request for any changes in Current Visa /
applying the new Visa

I request you to kindly provide me the information.

Hi Everyone..

Just to let this forum know that my EC application was approved on 5th March. Timeline was:
EC application: 15th Feb
EC granted: 5th March
Location: Mumbai
VISA starts from 1st April.

Hi nerellg, I would try to convince those guys. Not sure BHC would advance the date of your visa (Even if they did, they will have stamp the visa again on you passport.) Try contact VFS guys directly, preferrably in person.

Best of luck.. BTW, I must say you're the lucky one... are you in IT? I would appreciate if you could share your experience of job hunting with me. I'm travelling soon as April starts and hunting for the job at the moment.
