mjshruthi u must call to HO on Tuesday, As they are close before that time.

and its not a 4 digit number, its a 6 digit number. but every one keeps 2 digit at most secret to not to close it to others. as mine is 2509**.....

your number must be different according to the date of payment done.

not yet dude - my timelines are also Feb 18 from PK. I think they have seperate desk for dealing with South Asian region cases.

I timeline for application is as follows

15:Feb:2008 = Application Received by HO
18:Feb:2008 = Fees deducted from my account

No reference number received yet!!!!

Did any body apply during the same time as me? What is the response..

i called today and as per their IVR - they are still working on 14th Feb applications.

I

have phoned and asked them...... the date at which your application gets processed is based on when the money is actually recieved by the immigration office, not the date they receive your paper work.

I applied from UK by Special delivery on 24-02-08
My Debit card was charged on 27-02-08

I didn't recieve any mail regarding reference number.

I tried to call the HO regarding my reference number, as suggested. But no one takes the call, when the HSMP part is reached. The call gets cut immidiately.Below is the number i tried.I got an automated reply for my mail.Please help.

I got mail from Homeoffice to arrange the courier pick up. decision has been made on my application, but dont know what decision has been taken. fingers crossed.

Call 01142074074 -
option 3 for work permit ( & not option 2 for HSMP)
then - option 2 for General enquiries about Work permit (& not option 1 for progress)

After about 5 minutes of ringing , there will be a voice mail saying keep references ready, after about a total of 7 - 9 minutes, the call will be attended.

The case has not been allocated to any caseworker yet.

Just rang HO today and they gave me my ref number

My Time:

14-Feb-2008 Application submitted
15-Feb-2008 Application Receive by HO
18-Feb-2008 Fee Debited
26-Mar-2008 Got Ref number 2509**

spoke to a lady and she gave me this ref number but said that they can't comment on the progress because its is within the the service time of 5-14 weeks

got my reference email on 18th Feb. Nothing arrives yet...
I can't wait anymore and sent my TIER1(FLR) without approval letter because my student visa expires on 30th March.

Am I in trouble??

I guess Its just a gamble coz

if you get your letter late then it might be a problem
OR
You might have a chance and if if u get it before they start reviewing your FLR application

I have got the same issue as u coz my visa expires on 31st but I have been told by my solicitor to extend my visa to be on the safe side...
