well i found all or most of my payslips from contract jobs here in Italy and also evidence of maternity leave and also at the back of all the douments they asked for a copy i also placed of the EU Directive 2004, they were back to me within a few days after that. we are trying to figure out now when we are going as we cannot waste this time that we have and thank you very muh for all the advice adn i would be happy to help any other person who finds themselves in the same position

Note that since you will have entered the UK under EU rules, it will take 5 years until he has PR. It would likely help if you were working then. He could then immediately apply for UK citizenship assuming he meets the other requirements.

I've been looking for an answer to this - with similar circumstances to juju1979

Is this EU or British Law (citizenship part), and would you please refer me to some legislation on this.
