Spouse Visa - Company Name Change

Post by Andy3D » Thu Feb 21, 2019 3:27 pm

Hi, I am planning to submit my partners spouse visa in May however i learned in the last few days that my employer who i have worked at for the last 10+ years will be changing their company name and i will be put on to a new payroll for the new company they are setting up. I will still be working for the same people and doing the same job it's just a reorganisation for them.

Can i still do the 6 month route and get my employer to explain this in the letter i will get them to do? As from the April payslip going forward it will have the new company name on. I will also provide a explanation on the cover letter.

Or should i do the 12 month route? As i wasn't sure if the person looking at it would see it as a new employment.

Honestly, I would just submit 12 months. I wouldn't risk a denial for something so small. You never know with the HO!

Supplying 12 months of payslips with 12 months of bank statements is much safer under category B.
