Family Legacy case help needed

Post by Attiqr » Sun Jul 20, 2008 4:53 am

Hi I need your help guys ASAP please. We came to England as family 3 brothers, mom and dad in October 2001 and applied for asylum. I am 22 and my brothers are 17 and 20. I was sixteen when we applied for asylum. Home refused our asylum application within 6 months and then we appealed against refusal, appeal was refused with in year and half then my dad applied for fresh claim in 2004, until June 2007 we didn't hear anything from home office, my dad kept sending letters to home office but never received reply then in June 2007 we received legacy forums, within 17 days we sent the forms back with 4 photos each to home office, in October 2007 some housing people from local council came to our house and said we are going to be granted ILR soon, we need to fill in forms for council house. This happened to all families who were living in our area about 20 families. Housing team leader said home office are looking at our file and will soon send ILR , All the families who were in our situation and area have received ILR and we have not heard anything from home office, during all this time we have been living under NASS support including NASS Accommodation. I am just worried Home office might turn down our ILR application because we have not heard from them for so long; it’s been nearly 9 months since they told us that we should receive ILR within couple of months.

Please advice me as soon as possible what we should do to resolve this matter. Help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Attiq

Dont worry we are in same condition....what i have observed is that family who consisits of over age people are not getting ILR as faster as others.

I guess you have no other option than waiting.. Keep sending them letters... Alas!!! No more suggestions sorry
