Workpermit validity

I am here on workpermit since 2005. I got my visa stammped around one month after receiving the work permit.
The work permit says the valid until 31 Aug and the visa stamped on my passport say valid until 29 Sep. I am not sure what is the correct date
Can somebody help me with this

I think it is 31 AUG as per my understanding....Visa should be issued as per workpermit date ..... I could be wrong ..wait for others[/u]

Are you sure?

You have not given a year in your dates! Are you confusing the date it was issued? Please quote exactly what it says.

Thanks for this. The validiy date as per the passport is 29-Sep-2008 and as per the work permit is 31-Aug-2008.
