Saloman, when do you intend to get married? That is an important question given that the best indication is that the new rules will be brought into force in December 2008.

It catches everyone under 21, both the non-EEA spouse, and their sponsor, irrespective of who the younger person is.

I am planning to marry during October john but thinking to advance the date, just in case one good morning we read that the rule is implimented.

Might be a good idea Saloman, just in case. It would give you time to get your visa application in good time before the new regulations are in place.
