ILR Application for Spouse Question

Hello,

My wife is on a spouse visa and entered the UK on 12th September 2015 and so I believe the earliest she would be able to apply for the ILR would be 15th August 2020 (5 years minus 28 days if I've calculated correctly).

However her current visa expires on that very day, 15th Aug 2020. Would this likely lead to rejection of the application? Or would we be ok, as long as we apply on exactly the 15th and no earlier?

It is perfectly fine. Apply on the last day of her visa and book an appointment for a later day.
