Post by ashokpar » Wed Jan 16, 2019 12:27 pm

Hi,

Looking to apply for ILR for my wife who is on TIer 1 dependent 5 years route. Does she need to sit for an English Language Test? I understand they need original passport of BRP as ID for test. currently the passport and BRP are with Home office. what are my options.?

she did a Bachelors degree in India that was thought in English, is it Easy to apply via NARIC route to prove english language qualifications?

Thanks in Advance.

Claiming Child Benefit/Applying for Spouse ILR

Post by ashokpar » Wed Jan 15, 2020 9:37 pm

Hi,

Applying for Spouse ILR she is on Tier1 Depandent eligible for ILR since 1 year as we have some travel commitments we didn't apply till now. I have few Questions regarding application.

1. Last Tier1 extension is approved on Jan 2019, Do I need to list all the Holidays in the applicaion prior to this as well?
2. I am claiming child benefit,Child Tax Credits (Both are on My Name) this should not impact her application right? Do I just need to mark as she is claiming £0.00?
3. Do I need to send address proof's for last 2 years or some address proofs since last visa approval should be sufficient?

Thanks in Advance..

Technically and required by law, tax credits is a joint claim and is awarded to you both as a couple, this is permissible under The Tax Credits (Immigration) Regulations 2003, Reg. 3(2) and (3).

ILR Tier 1 Depandent Set(o) Absenses

Post by ashokpar » Thu Jan 16, 2020 9:20 pm

Hi,

Applying for ILR for my wife and she got her latest extension on 25th Jan 2019. I am wondering about the Absenses History.

Is this is Correct?
Does the period of stay on which this application was based include any leave granted since 11 January 2018?---Yes
Have you had any absences from the UK during any leave granted since 11 January 2018?---Yes

Also With Child Benfit

How much do you receive each month? -£0.00 (As Applicant)
How much does your partner receive each month?- £82.80?

Is it correct?

Do I need to Include All the absenses from 11th Jan 2018 or Just from the time she got her latest extension? In both Instances the Holidays are not more than 180.

Regards,

Those answers are correct. Absences after 25th Jan 2019 should be entered
